6. HP. E34m G4. Check Price. (Image credit: Laptop Mag) The USB-C monitor market is expanding rapidly, and with that growth comes a massive benefit for MacBook Pro and even MacBook Air users as it
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are trying to use your Mac in closed-clamshell mode with an external monitor dock. Closed-clamshell mode works with one external monitor. Using docks don't increase the number of displays you can connect. These articles may help: Use external monitors with your Mac

My guess is that "Night Shift" works by modifying the display profiles for monitors (certainly works that way for f.lux, you can see the display profile change in System Preferences). This happens on my system, and my suspicion is that I have two monitors with the same name (and EDID info, which is probably the actual identifier) => macOS can't
Unplug any headphones or external speakers from your Mac. Make sure the cables from the display are connected to the ports on your Mac. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Sound in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click Output on the right, then make sure [Mac model] Speakers is selected in the output device
To fix Spotlight not working on macOS Sonoma, you can make some attempts below: Restart all Spotlight processes. Rebuild the Spotlight index. Check your Spotlight settings. Restart your Mac. Fix the macOS External Display Issues. macOS external display issues are reported by users who are using dual monitors on macOS Sonoma.
On your Mac. Choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences). Click Displays. If using macOS Ventura or later, click the Advanced button at the bottom of the settings window. Turn on "Allow your pointer and keyboard to move between any nearby Mac or iPad.". Leave the other Universal Control settings turned on for now.
But there is one thing that caught our eye: a reduction in the number of external displays you can connect. Per the specifications, the Mac Mini will natively support up to two external monitors (One via the HDMI port and a second via USB-C), while the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13″ only support one external display. Naturally, we wanted to
My M1 MacBook air is having issue when connecting to my 4k Asus pa279cv display over usb-c to usb-c cable directly to the usb-c DisplayPort, but it is okay when connecting to HDMI port with usb-c hub. The monitor supports 65w and DisplayPort 1.2 and it should be fine as I tested it with with 2016 MacBook Pro 13" and 2020 Intel MacBook air.
Change settings. To find Sidecar settings: macOS Ventura or later: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Displays in the sidebar, then click your iPad at the top of the window. macOS Monterey: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Displays. Click Display Settings, then click your iPad in the sidebar.
2. I needed to option-click ( ⌥ on keyboard) Scaled to make 1920 x 1080 [sic] available and select it to get the a different size scaling. Note: I cannot recommend 1080p which rendered unsharp, nor any setting with 'low resolution' except for the small but crispy clear 3860x2160 (low resolution)
thanks for your suggestion. It doesnt work as the display is not recognised properly. Its recognised as a 60hz 1080p 30" display, while it is a 4k 60hz 27" display.. IMHO, the new Bug Sur 11.1 caused some problems with the communication with the external display(s). As I can see from above, it is a widely popular issue, too.
Completely Disable External Display Sleeping on Mac. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu. Choose "Battery" (M1 MacBook Pro, M1 MacBook Air), or "Energy Saver" (M1 Mac Mini, iMac) M1 Mac laptops choose "Power Adapter", and then drag the slider for "Turn Display Off After…" to "Never".Fix 1: One potential fix for this issue is simply to upgrade the M2 MacBook Air base model from the eight-core GPU to a 10-core GPU for an additional $100 at purchase. This won't fix the Netflix Netflix app just doesnt display movies on the external monitor. Works fine on the chromebook screen. Netflix This is what you said to me. You Yes, but it should work on the external monitor. This is not an issue with the monitor, the cable or the chromebook itself. It's an issue with the netflix app, which needs to be fixed.
Step 1: Press and hold the Power Button until your Mac shuts down. Step 2: After your Mac shuts down, wait for a few seconds and press Shift + Left Option + Left Control key. Press and hold the
The only way I can connect to this display from the M1 MacBook is via this display's HDMI port, using a USB3-to-HDMI adapter made by HyperDrive and an HDMI cable. This way the M1 MacBook Air can detect the monitor, but the signal is 4K only (of course), and the connection from the M1 MacBook Air to the monitor is flaky. After the M1 MacBook
Verify that the device appears in System Information: On your Mac, press and hold the Option key, then choose Apple menu > System Information. Open System Information for me. In the window that appears, see if the Thunderbolt device is listed below Hardware in the list on the left. If the device appears but does not work, review the device's
USB Keyboard not working after sleep I use my MacBook pro with the lid closed and two monitors. I have an external Mac USB keyboard, too. Before the Catalina upgrade, I was able to wake the computer using the external keyboard. Now, after I put the MacBook into Sleep then reconnect to my monitors & keyboard the keyboard does not work.
Manually went to AMD and installed the graphics drivers first. Control Panel->Display->Advanced Display Options->Select external monitor->Display adapter properties->List Modes. I don't know if it matters but I first selected a lower resolution, in my case 1680x1050 then Ok and Apply and BOOM! It was scaling correctly!E2AT1.
